Greetings!

I really like your timeline that shows the history of gaming. After conducting research, were you surprised with any of your findings with regards to some of today's best practices with technology. Were you somewhat familiar with most (or all) of the innovations included in your timeline?

Believe it or not I did find that the concepts behind the use of gaming in education is logical. I here on a weekly basis from a co-worker or a presenter in a meeting "We know that you are not animated characters, and that keeping students attention is becoming more difficult, but as teachers you are the experts." In researching gaming I have found that their are games that teachers can utilize that would help teach some very difficult concepts; however, I am not sure how teachers would find the means becuase most evaluators don't see gaming as educational.

I think gamings biggest obstacle is not only funding but to change the presecption that Pre-K and Kindergarten students are the only students that learn through play.
