Engaging Learners with New Strategies and Tools
Please click the picture to view my graphic and relfection on the topic.
The first thing that popped out about your graphic organizer is the fact that all of the tools you listed can be used both outside and inside the classroom. Prior to my enrollment of this course, I would've never considered blog sites a classroom tool. However, as I have participated in blogs for our current course, I have come to realize how it is a powerful tool that can be used to showcase work and communicate with classmates on an ongoing basis.
Your graphic organizer includes tools that I am very familiar with as a student but also as someone who uses social media and any other available online tools in the normal course of my life. My main reason for wanting to teach online is because the online environment is one that appeals to me as a student, social person, shopper, and so forth. I welcome the opportunity to use innovations and new technology that advances my knowledge of all things online interactive. You assessed well this generation of tecno-savvy individuals and learners.
